Reminder: Church Family Category is No Longer Public

Mar 29, 2012   //   by Joshua March   //   Web Support  //  No Comments

Just a reminder that, per http://www.rosedalenazarene.org/2012/02/church-family-category-change/, the Church Family is accessible only to church attendees. As such, if you want to post something to the outside world, you’ll not want to use Church Family as a category.

Thanks!

Community Day – THIS SATURDAY

Mar 26, 2012   //   by Jess Nordai   //   Announcements & General News, Children  //  No Comments

How are you spending your Saturday? I hope that  from 11am – 1pm you are spending time with us!

Please join us for Community Day on March 31, 2012. During this time we will have crafts, games, prizes, food, a bounce house, and egg hunts. The hunts will start at 11:15 for the 0-2 age group. The rest of the hunts will have a staggered start time so that parents can enjoy watching all their children search for eggs.

Please contact Jess Nordai or the church office (717-939-3740) with any questions. We look forward to spending time with your family on Saturday!

What’s Your Favorite?

Mar 24, 2012   //   by Ben Nordai   //   M&Ms  //  1 Comment

In this world we all have favorite things.  Children have a favorite doll or meal to eat McDonald’s.  We as adults have lots of favorite things.  There is our favorite friend, shirt or outfit, car or vehicle, things to do and let’s not forget our favorite FOOTBALL TEAM.  But now of this stuff is really important.  I have been watching football for many years and my team NEVER listens to me.  So what is the point of having favorite things.  Well, they help to make up or personality.  All of these things tell someone something about us.  This idea has had me thinking.  So what is your favorite bible verse?  My favorite verse is 1 Corinthians 9:24-27.  You see I love to go running and these verses speak to me about what and now we are to live.  I need to run my race.  I need to get the crown.  I need to run with a purpose and not get disqualified for the prize.  I have read these few simple verses many times over in my life.  Times when I struggled with sin and life.  Also, at times when life couldn’t be better.  God always has something new for me when I read these verses.  So what is your favorite verse?  Please, leave a comment and a reason why it is your favorite verse.  May God Bless all who read this!
