2 Timothy 4:3-5
“A time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and look for teachers who will tell them whatever their iching ears want to hear. They will regject the truth and chase after myths But you should keep a clear mind in every situation…Work to tell others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.”
Church, has there been more urgent time than now to listen to the words of the Apostle Paul? The best way to maintain a clear mind is to know and apply the mind of Christ. The next question to ask is “What would Jesus do?” That will keep us busy but also focused on what Jesus would have us do. This next church year will be both exciting and challenging, but if we keep our focus it will be the most rewarding. Thanks for being a part of this church body as we serve the Lord togerther.
