Happy New Year
I pray that as we go into the new year, that the Lord Jesus would bless and disciple each one of us as we serve the Lord together. I would love to see the people of Rosedale get connected and accomplish all that the Lord desires and we go to a new level in our walk with God.
Great Easter Service
What a great day in the Lord! Easter Sunday was a real blessing as people gave their lives to the Lord and we experienced God’s great presence as we worshipped together. Should not everyday be resurrection day? The empty tomb gave each one of us victory as we serve and worship our risen Savior. Life changes in ways we never imagine as we allow God to change and form us into the likeness of Christ.
Be blessed church,
Pastor Tony

2 Timothy 4:3-5
“A time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and look for teachers who will tell them whatever their iching ears want to hear. They will regject the truth and chase after myths But you should keep a clear mind in every situation…Work to tell others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.”
Church, has there been more urgent time than now to listen to the words of the Apostle Paul? The best way to maintain a clear mind is to know and apply the mind of Christ. The next question to ask is “What would Jesus do?” That will keep us busy but also focused on what Jesus would have us do. This next church year will be both exciting and challenging, but if we keep our focus it will be the most rewarding. Thanks for being a part of this church body as we serve the Lord togerther.

Sandy loooses her grip
Good morning everyone,
I am sitting at my desk and reflecting on the past 24-36 hours. Maybe, like me you have spent it concerned for life and property and the last few days have been a stressed time. I spent Sunday into Monday preparing my house for the storm and picking up all the little yard ornaments and securing the grill so that they do not blow into the neighbors yard. I got my exercise running up and down the basement steps every half hour to make sure that water does not again come into the basement. I strategically drove my wife to work Monday so that there was not a chance of a flooded parking lot damaging our car. Now Tuesday morning after the fact, I take inventory of my “Stuff” and find that it all seems to be here or at least all the essentials seem to be in place. I am so blessed by God, not because of my stuff being spared, but because my family is safe, my church family as far as I know seems to be managing in the storm. I see on the news many people who are far worse off than I am, and I am thankful! I am thankful for a church family that sometimes experiences a few storms but always remembers why we do what we do. Hurricane Sandy may have blown some of our stuff around, she may have inconvenienced us for a few hours, but she did not cause us to loss our walk and appreciation for the great things that God is doing and will do in the life of those who’s hearts remain steadfast on Him. I hope you made it through this storm, and I hope and pray that while preparing for the next storm that you put your trust and security in the Lord.
Blessings to you,
Pastor Tony
VBS Success
As we are getting ready to enter our final night of Operation Overboard, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their help, support, encouragement and prayers during this time. Yes, it has been a labor of love for me. I have enjoyed every minute of getting ready for this week and I hope you can see where this event can take our church every year.
The kids have loved it! We have reached 40 children for Christ so far this week. It has been an amazing time of learning and laughter. For our missions project, “His Hands”, has the kids using their hands to be Christ’s hands by helping to supply less fortunate children with medical equipment, medicines and doctors. They have jumped right in to make this a success. So far the children have raised almost $250. The boys are ahead after last night’s offering. Our goal for this project is $600. Who knows what will happen tonight?
I encourage you all to come out on Sunday night at 6:30pm for the kids to be able to share with you what they have learned this week. It should be a great time of fun and fellowship!

Thank You
I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has worked so hard over these past months and dreamed so big over these past years toward making our projection system a reality.
Today we celebrate what the Lord has done–what He has brought us through. And there is much to celebrate as His faithfulness is amazing!
However, He has brought us this far for a reason; He has given us this new projection system not as a trophy but as a tool for reaching our community. So, while we celebrate today, there is kingdom work to be done tomorrow!
Let’s continue forward, keeping our eyes on the prize!
