Bountiful Blessings Product Drive
Good morning, church family.
Please remember to bring your nonfood items for Bountiful Blessing sessions. We have containers set up in the foyer area as you come in. We had great success at our last session as we helped 27 families, some from the flooded areas of Middletown and Highspire, and those in need. If you need a list of items needed, please look at previous posts. If you would like to be a part of this vital ministry, please see Betty Porter or Betty Krieger.
Website SSL (Secure Access) Upgrade
I’m excited to announce that rosedalenazarene.org is getting SSL access!
What is SSL?
SSL is what allows your computer to exchange information with webservers securely. You use SSL everytime you do online banking or purchase something online.
Why SSL?
We are installing this technology onto rosedalenazarene.org so that we can guarantee that any personal data shared (name, email address, etc) is securely transferred and is not intercepted by unscrupulous or malevolent users.
What do I have to do?
Rosedalenazarene.org will gain the ability to transfer certain data securely and will intiate such communications as appropriate. Your web browser already knows how to communicate securely and will do so with no extra setup on your part. This change should be invisible to you.
What should I expect?
In the next few days, connection to the website may momentarilly be interrupted as different parts of it are reconfigured. If you have difficulty accessing something, please try again in a few minutes.
Thanks as always and please let me know if you have any questions!

We will be going to ABC East Lanes. Thei address is 1001 Eisenhower Blvd, Harrisburg, PA, 17111. The cost is $4.25 per game per person, and $2.00 for shoe rental. Please contact me if you have any questions!
Thank you and have a blessed day 🙂
Bountiful Blessing Drive for Products
Good morning, Church family.
I am excited that we have begun our product drive for Bountiful Blessings. In the last two weeks, we have collected over 400 cleaning supply items. This includes 150 items donated from our Lavelle Church. This means that our past session on September 27th and our next session scheduled for Oct 11th, we will be self-suffucient. This week, we ministered to 27 families, 5 of which were new to the program. Please! If you are able, please bring items with you on Sunday morning and we will again get enough items to supply the need. It takes around 250 items a session to be self-supportive.
Items that are always needed: paper towels, any kind of cleaners, toilet paper, facial tissues, tooth paste, personal care items, laundry detergent, dish detergent, soap bars.
We are praying that a number pf people would support this ministry on a regular basis and we could become self-supportive.
If you would like to be a part of this ministry, please let me know.
Ministry to Lisa Lake Residents
This morning I was awakened by an idea to help the flood victims in our area. I faxed a letter to the Highpire Homes corporate office concerning the people at Lisa Lake. My letter invited the residents to be a part of Bountiful Blessings and to get personal care items and cleaning suppies. The letter asked for suggestions of ways that we could get this information out to the people who lived there and the people at the corporate office have graciously taken it upon themselves to make copies and distribute it to the residents through the main office located right in Lisa Lake.
I am asking you to keep this in your prayers and also if you would be able and willing to supply any of the needed items. A lot of these items are available at the dollar store or other discount places.
Here is the short list of items we will need:
Paper towels, tooth paste, toilet paper, shampoo, bars of soap, feminine hygiene, all cleaning supplies, trash bags, dish liquid, diapers, tooth brushes, laundry detergent, facial tissues, baby wipes, bleach, rubber gloves, and Bibles.
I will be sending this to the church family as an e-mail and will also have these items listed in the bulletin for next several weeks hoping that we can generate interest for these items to be brought in on Sunday.

Upcoming Events
Hello everyone! I hope you have managed to keep your head above water these last few days. My family is continuing to pray for those affected by the waters.
I wanted to take a minute to let you know some upcoming dates that you might want to make note of on your calendars. First event that is approaching is the annual trick-or-treat ministry. Trick-or-treat in Middletown should be October 27. I will be placing an announcement soon asking for donations of individually wrapped candies.
The second event that will be happening is Fall Fest on October 29 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. This year we have added a chili cook-off. I am looking forward to seeing what people can create! The inflatable that we were not able to have at community day will be at Fall Fest (weather permitting). Plus a variety of games and activities for the kids. I can’t wait!
If you have any questions or suggestions for upcoming events do not hesitate to call, email or Facebook me. Together we can reach out to each other and the community!
Prayer for the community
Church Family,
Please continue to be in prayer for those that have been evacuated from their homes and those that are fighting to keep water out of their basements. It would be a great time to look around and see who you might be able to bless at this time. It is not always the ones crying the loudest that need a hand. Be looking and be sensitive to the person or persons that the Lord lays on your heart.
The churches in highspire have water damage and will not be able to worship this Sunday. Please remember those congregations in your prayer, and maybe even invite them to join us this Sunday. Extend your hand out for no other reason except that maybe they would be encouraged by God’s Word.
Be blessed,
Pastor Tony

Lets see how many are reading the posts! Give me a sermon title for this picture. Post it in the comments section.
Fall Fest is Coming
Mark your calendars now! Fall Fest will be Saturday, October 29th. There will be fun, games and FOOD! We will have an inflatable for the kids (weather permitting), as well as games and crafts.
Adding to this year’s fun is the first annual chili cook-off. Do you have a great recipe for chili already? If not, start looking now. There is plenty of time to perfect it.
Stay tuned for more updates as the date gets closer!
Children’s Back to School Activity
The children’s church department will be hosting a back to school activity for the kids ages 3 through 6th grade on Sunday, September 4 directly following church until 3pm.
Lunch will be provided for all the kids and other fun activities are planned. Please let Jess Nordai know if your child is going to stay for this fun afternoon just for them. We look forward to seeing all the kids there!
